Bash's Fresh 48 | Sacred Heart Hospital Pensacola

WHOO! First Fresh 48 at Sacred Heart Hospital Pensacola since the pandemic started. I am so grateful and amazed by how Sacred Heart has worked to accommodate maternity patients through all of this. They never (well almost never…for only like 3 days) took away the option for patients to have a doula and were the first hospital in the area to increase the number of visitors allowed (2 per patient, as of this session… but alas, things have tightened back up).

Anyway, this was one of the most adorable Fresh 48s I’ve ever done. Sara is a former wedding planner, so it didn’t surprise me in the least that everything she brought to the hospital for Sebastain’s session was expertly coordinated. Like right down to the blue hospital bands. I just love the light and airy tones of all the whites and blues.

I’m always surprised by how similar my clients tastes are to my own. I guess I shouldn’t be as they are (or should be) choosing me for my aesthetic. But sometimes the lengths it goes to makes me think ‘NO WAY!’. For example, Sara totally chose my hypothetical future son’s name! I mean, not that I’m having another baby. But if I were going to, his name would be Sebastian (so I could call him Bash).

Also, my son Jack-Jack was born with spikey dark hair and a chin dimple… so my Bash would probably look a lot like this. Wild!
