Asher | Pensacola Newborn Photographer

Asher’s newborn session at her family home in Pensacola, Florida was a relaxed and family centered affair. We focused on snuggles, smiles, and just enjoying this sweet new little life through whatever moments came our way. After the loss of their boy Jamey the year prior (lovingly represented by his favorite toy: a Lightning McQueen Hot Wheels), mama’s only priority was to never regret not capturing the moments. It didn’t matter that we only had the guest room and unfinished nursery to work in because the rest of the house was being renovated. We stuck to the best light and made the most of it.

Did Asher want the pacifier in her mouth 80% of the session? Yep.
Did I have to force a teenage boy to love on his sisters? Without a doubt.
Was it fun for everyone (except maybe said teen boy)? Absolutely.

This photoshoot was a beautiful reminder of why I pursued my passion for newborn and family photography. It provided me with an incredible opportunity to witness and capture the love, joy, and tenderness that exists within families. As a photographer, these experiences remind me of why I am so captivated by the beauty of life. And with each session, I am reminded that the real magic lies in the connections we share with one another, captured forever through the lens of my camera.
